Hey heyyyyyyyy....
And yes, this story has several levels of tragic to it before it ends. Oh gawd, no wonder Ian looks so shell-shocked. as are we, right? But, Cortland made the decision that if Ian was going to be with him, he deserved to know who he was falling for. whether Cortland honestly expects Ian to hang around after this story....hmmm...but at the same time these confessions are a huge weight for him.
Hope you guys had a great weekend! xxx

Ouch. Knowing something like this was coming did not make the first few panels any easier to read, and then IT KEPT GETTING WORSE. Poor, poor Cortland...

Yikes! D:

No wonder Court has an issue or ten to struggle with. The tragedies in his past just keeps building up.

Btw. Caught a spelling glitch in panel 4. Ambulance.

ah, i see. when you turn 18, your record is wiped clean in the UK.

@Ralend: I don’t think it’s the same for young boys in the US. Once the “accident “ has happened, it stays on your record forever. Cort should be lucky.

Wooow. I really admire Courtland's honesty about this. This is certainly something painful to bear. I wish I can hug him.

- mom... i just killed someone.

top five in the sentences a mother never hopes to hear...
and a horrible day for Cort, first realizing what he had done, then mom going into crazy attack mode and almost killing him. but i think Ian can understand why this all happened. since i think he'll still stick to Cort, he should nonetheless learn some self-defense - cuz while there's no reason to believe Cort would attack him, there's no guarantee he won't ever either ~

@lazy-lil-king: What a background he's had, eh? Were you ready for this, Ian? 0_O

EmmaVieceli, June 27th, 2018, 5:32 am     Reply

@portisHeart: That's not a bad point to make. And Ian has known for a while that Cort has a tendency to flip.Buuut, Ian's impact on Cortland's life is a positive one that may be able to change him!

Fuck, you're leaving me here at 2am in the morning? Damn, I need to learn how to binge stuff so I don't end up crying and throwing my phone while mentally screaming "Nooo I need to know what happens next"

@Styx: Yikes! So sorry! It's a little bit of a heavy binge-read, eh? But hopefully with some smiles mixed in! And a new page coming in about ten minutes ^_^
welcome to BREAKS!

Having someone ostensibly there for you through thick and thin look at you as if they don't recognise you is a scary thing. I really feel for Cort.
