Everyone wears a mask. What we see of people on the surface is so rarely what’s ticking underneath. And, in Cortland Hunt’s case, what he’s hiding might just be more than Ian Tanner is prepared for.
Breaks is the story of two young adults coming to terms with who they were, who they are and who they’ll become.
It’s a love story…but a little broken.

Well, ouch. There are two conversations happening here. The one between Ian and his Father, and the one between Cail and Cortland that Cail doesn't even know he's having. 0_O
He may be silent, but his brain is whirling, and we can see the snakes to prove it, right?
Hope you all had a wonderful weekend. Last week's page was auto-scheduled, so I didn't get to say it then, but it was SO GOOD to see so many of you at the MCM comic con. So many smiling faces. I had a thoroughly exhausting but enriching weekend.
Thank you to all of you who said hi, raved about BREAKS and bought copies. You are loved x
Well the dad's not wrong, plenty of time to reflect unless you are a proud murderer then ya know prison can't change that XD
But its interesting because that's quite a vulnerable thing that Courtland has noticed, so I am interested to see how Ian reacts if he mentions it to him.
well "dad", you really screwed up y'know. Ian is entitled to be pissed off big time. i for sure wouldn't visit you, you could rot in jail. also, other peeps have kids, house & car too - and they don't turn crim. easy to move on when you're the one who fucked up ~
