Everyone wears a mask. What we see of people on the surface is so rarely what’s ticking underneath. And, in Cortland Hunt’s case, what he’s hiding might just be more than Ian Tanner is prepared for.
Breaks is the story of two young adults coming to terms with who they were, who they are and who they’ll become.
It’s a love story…but a little broken.

And so, with Cortland all fired up and stepping forward in his boxing, we head into a new issue! A new location - three marbles on a grave, and a few more clues as to Irena and Cortland's shared past. *dramatic music*.
Three years since the death of whoever is in that grave. Start your conspiracy engines running :D
I hope you all had a good weekend. I was at the London Film and Comic Con, where I met lots of amazing people; including a few BREAKS readers *waves*. And here's hoping a few more come to join our clan off the back of the event. If you're a new reader who I met over the weekend, welcome to the BREAKERS! Take a seat, make yourself a hot beverage and get comfy ^_^
@sstogner1: oh, no! Not at all. You're amazing xx as with everything, it's all going to be explained, so no need to feel frustrated, but I'll say that the person in question has literally only been mentioned once so far, so don't you dare feel like a fake fan xx
The key thing is now knowing that someone both of these kids knew died three years ago, and Cortland has apparently placed a marble on the grave to mark each year ^_^
i would have said it's the guy Cort killed in the ring.. but even looking at p.151/3 i can't figure who this Andrzej is anyway.. class mate? Irena's bro? the milk man? XDD
that's my problem with all webcomix, after a few pages - which means a few weeks/months, i kinda forget pretty much everything from before >_< (assuming it made sense back then, which might or not be the case, lmao)
@portisHeart: aww, don't you worry. You know us. We're particularly mean. The name has been mentioned, we know it was someone who shut Irena out and ended up here, where Cortland places a marble on his grave each year...that's the extent so far. X
