Even if he was disowned, rebel Ian would probably still consider him a brother, but he clearly states he doesn't have one anymore. 3.The picture itself, if you look closely, is draped in black ribbon, which is a symbol of mourning.
c'mon, srsly? father in jail for weapon possession and who knows what else, and older brother dead? and we thought Cort was the socially flawed one.. Ian seemed better adapted - before we knew of his family. maybe he got over it better or something..
