On some level, Cortland is trying...
but he's a bit pants at this, eh? Are things so bad between him and his brother that he knows any real talk will only end in argument? How do you fix that when you're worried about someone? Difficult. But make some effort, cort! XD

I would advise getting a mediator, but all of the options there are bad.

Come on Ian, have some advice for your boy. Give him a reason to kiss you! Offer to help by sitting in on the talk with his brother. How old is Harvey?

XDD he's not wrong! You asked for Ian's help and said 'nothing will work' so if nothing will work you're screwed XD
Though talking will help, even if they don't have a deep conversation. The knowing that his brother asked to see how he was should have some little positive effect :)

Cort is confiding in Ian, that's so lovely to see. I love how their relationships is going on.

I'm really happy Cort is at least trying, he didn't seem to care all that much earlier in the story. It makes me happy. Even the smallest of steps in the right direction is a step none the less ^w^

First the "Serious Face"™ and now this...

Ian should consider becoming a therapist, I could see him having a bright future in that field.
