Everyone wears a mask. What we see of people on the surface is so rarely what’s ticking underneath. And, in Cortland Hunt’s case, what he’s hiding might just be more than Ian Tanner is prepared for.
Breaks is the story of two young adults coming to terms with who they were, who they are and who they’ll become.
It’s a love story…but a little broken.

The last two pages have been really good. One the previous page it's the way the visuals are shown through the bleachers and seemed a visual hint of a jail cell, but I'm probably reading too much into that. On this page it's the parallel dialogue that's just the perfect way to bracket that kiss. But what really blows me away is the final panels on both pages where we see Cort in a new light and the sense is that he never thought he could feel this way. You have a marvellous facility with the eyes and getting those reflections in that almost glow and pull you right into them.
@Guest: There is totally someone over there. I just hope that person is Irena >_<
If that's the case, I think next page might be even more interesting (not really, I'd be happy with nothing but pages and pages of them kissing and being cute).
