WHAT. I can think of so many possibilities for what's going on, and none of them are good.

hmmm....does he have to testify against someone that will put him in danger?

Too many theories going on in my head right now xD I'm thinking that maybe Cort's mysterious past is kinda connected to what happened to his bro. Maybe Cort did what he did for his bro and the reason for all the rumors and why no one really knows what Cort did is because his actions never were justified. And here comes my theory about his case being connected to his brother's. Maybe all this mystery because his brother didn't want to speak up about what happened to him in conclusion Cort's actions not being able to be justified.

Oh shiiiit.

Maybe he's going to put Court into a detention school, since Courts 'reckless' and 'aggressive'. It seems like his brother is the main parent for him too.

Of course I'm not sure how old they are... If they over sixteen then Court no longer counts as a minor anyway :)

@chaos-of-vinnie: Ah, in UK law, he needs to turn 18 to be independent. ^_^

@'Thene: Well, there being many possibilities is still a good thing. It's a tangled web :)

Did you guys see who the letter is from? ^_~

It's from their mum, right? everyone's theories seem really good and interesting...it would especially make sense if the letter is from their mum : she would want Harvey to know that it's okay and that Cort is doing fine in his current situation. But maybe Harv is sick of staying quiet...? I really don't know but I can't wait!!

@EmmaVieceli: Shit really? I always thought it was 16 and also thought sixteen was too friggin' low, you are still just a kid!

I'm from the UK so I guess I should have already known that XD

@chaos-of-vinnie: Well, the UK is a conflicted place, as you'll know living here, haha! 16 is the legal age for sex, but 18 is when you're old enough to legally watch it in a film, apparently. :D In terms of our social care systems, young people count as independent once they hit eighteen. ^_^

@EmmaVieceli: And isn't it like 15 to join the army?

@MalinRyden: You know, I'm not sure!

I think Harvey (...and Cortland?) killed their father (who is probably a lot like Spence, and his dad) who maybe used to abuse Harv and Cort (and their mum?) in some fashion.

It got blamed solely on Cortland because Harvey would've gone to jail -- but it looks like maybe Harvey can't live with that, especially because it seriously fucked up Cortland emotionally.

Harvey's mum is trying to talk him out of confessing, while Connie is trying to tell Harvey that she knows he'll do what he has to and she'll support him no matter what, and he's trying to convince himself that Cort will be fine if he goes and does this.

@CatastropheJones: I think it's more likely that Cort killed someone, and Harvey (who "wants his normal life back") is going to turn him in.

@yaoiioay: I'm not sure I could forgive Harv for something like that.

@CatastropheJones: @yaoiioay: I can't wait to reveal all, you guys!! You're tantalisingly close, but from the wrong angle :D Arc two will explain it all though - by the end of the arc, we promise you'll know most of the Hunt history! x
