Everyone wears a mask. What we see of people on the surface is so rarely what’s ticking underneath. And, in Cortland Hunt’s case, what he’s hiding might just be more than Ian Tanner is prepared for.
Breaks is the story of two young adults coming to terms with who they were, who they are and who they’ll become.
It’s a love story…but a little broken.

Can we just address the fact that Cort just called Ian by his first name again? ^_^
I hope that Cort and Rennie are intimidating enough to make Spence back down, though...I'm sure this is going to come back to bite them somehow, but I'm hoping it's not going to be in a legal action sort of way.
Also (long comment, this) good on Rennie for jumping in to back up Cort instead of trying to hold him back!
SERIOUSLY. First names.
The way Ian really *WAS* just *ASKING* for it and the fact that Cortland gets right in front of him is just killing me. He could've beat Spence down. He could've tackled him. He could've lost his shit. Instead, he put himself in position to take a beating, to let Spence swing first.
