Everyone wears a mask. What we see of people on the surface is so rarely what’s ticking underneath. And, in Cortland Hunt’s case, what he’s hiding might just be more than Ian Tanner is prepared for.
Breaks is the story of two young adults coming to terms with who they were, who they are and who they’ll become.
It’s a love story…but a little broken.

Why's it got to hurt like that?
It's not surprising that it's hard to explain, considering the aggression Hunt's directing toward Ian. I feel like the coloring/shading's changed again, but it could be my tablet.
Poor boys -- everything's just so damned *hard* when you can't make sense of it, put it in a neat little box and hide it away.
Next time, perhaps Cortland can kiss Ian, instead. Just to balance everything out for our hearts.
well I love it that he's obviously so gay, but it's sad he's afraid to be ousted as gay, especially since half his friends seem very 'anti gay' aside his girlfriend who seems like she's only dating him really to make it seem like he's not gay even though she totally knows he is.. (this is just my thoughts) ;p
@raephium: Spot on! It's a hard thing to hear out loud, even if you suspect it of yourself. Life can seem simpley without confronting it...and Ian seems to be forgetting that bi is a thing; conventiently 0_o
