Everyone wears a mask. What we see of people on the surface is so rarely what’s ticking underneath. And, in Cortland Hunt’s case, what he’s hiding might just be more than Ian Tanner is prepared for.
Breaks is the story of two young adults coming to terms with who they were, who they are and who they’ll become.
It’s a love story…but a little broken.

Ian and Cortland. On a page together. What magic is this? >_<
And Ian - yes, that's exactly how you start a conversation. *eyeroll*
Whatever's going on now, it's hard to forget three years of taking the piss out of each other, it seems.
You guys continue to make us smile every week. thank you!
I seriously can't wait for these guys to get to know each other better. To really dig into each other's subconcious. The time where the superfulous banter turns into rapport in conversation. And I'm going to enjoy the journey there!
Oh my God. They are so pretty, both of them. :) And wtf, Ian, how can you honestly think this is a good idea? You better be prepared to handle one pissed off and jealous Spence as well as a suspicious Milly. And, of course, Cort himself...
AWW YEA-YUH!!! Our lovely boys on the same page! Is this heaven? (If it is then Cort would've said yes to Ian by now instead of ignoring the VERY obvious invitation being extended to him *narrows eyes at Cort*)
@r-o-t-a: I wish we could leap straight to the deep conversations about childhoods and homelife, or the clicky moments...i can't wait! But then, it wouldn't be so much of a story, I guess...the journey is a good one, we hope! ^_^
@AngryAngel: thank you! I was actually really pleased with how that came out, so I'm so glad to see you say that :) I can't wait to draw Cortland without the sling, poor thing!
And yeah - I'm so excited for the time you guys can see them being comfortable around each other ^_^
@Deviciouss: Aww, their reactions to your comment will be something like:
Ian - Why, thank you so much for noticing. *preens but secretly thinks you're talking more to cortland*
Cortland - What? I'm...what? Whatever. *scowls and lets Ian take the compliment*
