Everyone wears a mask. What we see of people on the surface is so rarely what’s ticking underneath. And, in Cortland Hunt’s case, what he’s hiding might just be more than Ian Tanner is prepared for.
Breaks is the story of two young adults coming to terms with who they were, who they are and who they’ll become.
It’s a love story…but a little broken.

As always, you guys really make us smile with your comments; thank you. It's great to see Amilah getting some love. I can't wait for you all to get more time with Irena too. Though BREAKS really is a story about Cortland and Ian primarily, we love our ladies and we're so glad you're enjoying reading them. ^_^
Meanwhile - well, talking of our leading men...seems one of them has finally appeared again. It's the moody one ;)
I don't get her actually... her relationship with Spence is confusing and now she is being provocative to Cort... he can't help getting out of hospital and going back to school I guess lol I mean she doesn't really have anything personal with him so why? except she kinda knows about Ian and his interest in Cort? It's the only thing I can think of right now that would make her say that... but because of her and everyone's complicated characters I enjoy this comic so much :)
@Xrs: oh I didn't think about it that way... you have a point. It just kinda surprised me cause we haven't seen them talk to each other before so it kinda came out of nowhere. We'll probably know more next page it might even be just a playful provocation(?) Maybe she knows how to handle situations like she knows how to handle Spence(?)
Amilah I saw that questioning look in your eye when Spence mentioned that Ian seem to have a problem with what they did to Cort... Do I sense a hint of jealousy? Are you nonplussed because Ian seems to be a little different and the change seems to involve Cort and not you who's been with him all this time?
Amaliah feels to strong. I wish I could better articulate my love of all of these characters, or the ladies who've brought them to life for us, and I'm always impatient to see what they'll do next.
