Well, congratulations to those of you who guessed/hoped that Ian would have at least been the one to call an ambulance. Yep - he maybe wasn't brave/dumb enough to leap in, but he knew well enough to call for help. Good lad. But good enough? The jury's out so far.

It was wonderful meeting some of you at thoughtbubble this weekend. Do raise your hand if you were there, so I know your usernames ^_^

Some of you were asking about any more printed issues to buy, which is very sweet of you. Malin and I aren't planning on printing again until we've finished the first book (which will compile six issues; arc one), but if you want to show your support for the free pages between now and then, you can support my patreon account - for as little as $1 a month. Your support means so much, and you get a few perks as well. Check out the campaign here:

Thanks so much! x

I just read everything that you have up and I've got to say I really do love it <3 <3
A diverse selection of character personalities and a solid conflict, along with great dialogue. Awesome job ^-^
Can't wait for updates =D

Wow, it's really good that Ian is checking up on Cortland. He certainly cares about him.

"Breaks" is a fantastic comic! It was great to meet you at Thought Bubble!

thanks for the update! I'm not a fan of Ian so far...but I guess he's not meant to be a hero in the sense of a knight on a white horse...it is nice to see a realistic relationship develop rather than some more *cough* standard (read: cheesy) bl comics...not that I ever really get tired of cheesiness :D

Well I'm gonna say congrats to myself
Because I was one of those who had hoped that Ian would haved notified the authority's I'm so glad that I was right . And I'm still kind of peeved that Ian didn't interfere directly but I can understand why I mean we are talking about spence here he even convinced the rest of the team to do his dirty work for him .Who knows if Ian had interfered they may have turned on him so maybe he did do the right thing .

Yey! I'm happy to know Ian really called an ambulance for Cortland.

His face in the third pannel is telling us how much he is worried.

@magicmau5: Ian is not a hero, nor is he a white knight. But in a way, this story is about him finding out that maybe, just maybe, he might want to be.

If he ever manages to get there is a completely different question :).

@Everybody: Thank you so much for your comments, I really should be better at replying to people. Just a bit shy at times.

@RobertF99: Hey - great to meet you! I'm now wondering which person at my table you were :) But yes, Ian definitely cares...maybe more than he was actually prepared for.

@magicmau5: hehe, yeah! As Malin said, Ian's definitely no white knight - though he maybe wishes he could be at times :D
And gosh - thank you! One of our key missions was that this is a real story - with real character development, so it means a lot that you've picked up on that. There's always a place for cheesy stories - I lap them up! But this one is not one of them...but we hope people will be drawn in especially because of that! ^_^

@raziesgirl : You did! Your comments have generally been so scarily spot on, actually - have you been reading our notes? :D

@Azhreik: Yeah...Poor Ian. If he felt torn before, he's going to feel even more so now!

@MalinRyden: Woot! I want to see Ian's little face in the comments more! :)
We had some lovely comments at the Thoughtbubble table, btw! I said people should try and drop a line here if they can...and it's made me really smile seeing the extra responses ^_^

Oh good he called an ambulance at least!
It's better than nothing! And its a hard call on him jumping in. I mean there's still more of them so Ian could have ended up getting beat just as bad as Courtland :S
